yep, i am busy these few weeks because my sem has started last month
and things have been coming continually.
i will have a few cards to post in the time to come
since i got a few special requests.
so yes, my blogshop is still alive! :)

i even 're-dress' my theme.
i decided to leave the background white so it is clean and neat.

I decided to use the cherries on the cupcakes as the "star".

I know the cherries didn't stand out enough to be the "star" of the design.

I still like the outcome though; simple and sweet. :)

I am recently liking the technique of using a blender with stamp ink.

It is like colouring like back in school days.

cause I couldn't pass it to my friend.

I finally got to meet him and passed it to him.

(Yes, it became a super belated birthday card. Haha..)

It is not my first time making this but before this, I never make use of

the dimensional spaces that I can play with.

So, this time I went with different layers cause I wanted it to look even more 3-D.

I had fun playing with stamps recently and distress ink is pretty. :)

Using a blender and pigment ink to colour is really cool.

That's why there are so many colourful stamped flower image on this card.

This is one of my new designs!

Inspired by cabinets that I saw from various pictures of interior designing.

It is very 3D like and filled with little random-ness.

Plus, this is my first ready-made card after some time.

It did take awhile to "build" the "cabinet".

Choosing which patterned papers to go with which was quite a headache.

Then matching the right embellishments to the

suitable space also took some time and headache.

Haha.

But I hope you like this. =)

It's a birthday card and a birthday gift to my friend,

a very very dear friend of mine.

Whom I have known for....*counting the years*.......9 years!

I am glad we still are good friends.

One HUGE flower!!

I actually ripped it from "something"... hehe. :)

I don't know why it took me so long to realize that

copper glitter is so pretty and versatile.

It has been left aside in my box for so long!

Haha.. talk about the right timing..

The squigglies of mine can never go wrong! :)

Next up, the gift!

Which is a plain cover notebook I got from the store

and decided to add some colours to it. ;)

These beads are from "something" as well..hehe.. :)

You know how those diary or so has a ribbon attached to them

so that you could use as a bookmark or something?

I took the idea and made one for this notebook.

I took three ribbons and braided them,

punched a hole and tied it to the book!

There, you got yourself a unique ribbon bookmark! :)

Oh, and that brown flower, I ripped it from

"something" too..

(Trying to be recyle-ish)

My mini projects have not ended...

Eggs for Birthday

Along the way to working on my new idea,

I made this birthday card for a dear friend of mine.

We share the same birthday!!

It's not everyday you make a good friend that shares the same birthday.

So, I wanted to show it in the card.

And this came out!

The blue egg is my friend, and the pink is me!

I know how it feel very Easter-ly..

But I see it works for a birthday theme like this too!

And I find it really meaningful..

I had a lot of fun time decorating the eggs!

This is a graduation card inspired from the one

that I made for my senior.

Many stars!!!

But this time, I added a bit of colours around.

Since it is for a girl, so I thought of making

it a little bit more....cute. =)

I love the ribbon!!

I got it from Memory Lane.

Stripy dark blue and silver, not something that I usually

get to find.

(Hints: You can get really nice ribbons in Memory Lane

or D'nata in KLCC. =) )

I like this card a lot myself

It's been awhile since I post up a ready made card.

So, I made one here for Valentine's. :)

Have a look!

I guess this is my first time using black as

part of the theme colour.

Always wanted to use black but never found a chance.

But this time, I did. :)

Deep red sheer ribbon tied into a soft bundle

and paired with a few elegant white pearls.

Put in a little gold to make it a little glamorous. :)

Took me a few nights to build the love shape with flowers.

Cut one by one and stick one by one to make this.

When my customer requested for penguin,

snows came to my mind and igloo seems to be a must.

But she said the card should be pink-ish.

So i just change the colour theme to pink and white

instead of the normal blue and white used for winter theme cards.

I think it turned out pretty fine. :)

Hello! *waves*

Paperer is back for what seem to be the longest not-active-time.

Am back, seriously this time.

So, a few announcements to make here.

First,

custom made order is open again!

But, before that,

I made a few necessary changes to the terms and conditions.

Heads up!

One of the previous terms and conditions for custom made order

was

"Please place your custom made orders at least 2 weeks earlier before the date that you want the card. Designing a card will take time so, please place your order earlier~"

I have come to realize that this is not working too well.

So, I changed it a little.

"Please place your custom made order(s) through email

and I will arrange/discuss the completion date of the card with you."

Reasons for the changes are;

orders could come in bulk at the same time and I couldn't complete them in 2 weeks,

and this way, I can manage the orders better and everyone (hopefully) will have their orders done.

So, peeps, if you wanna order, just place it in!

Even if it is months earlier, it doesn't matter!!

The next change is,

I will reply emails/enquiries within 48 hours.

(It used to be 24 hours)

Now that I am a full-time industrial trainee

and internet is not available during working hours,

I believe 48 hours will be a better choice.

I don't want to make too many late replies.. (>.<)

Lastly,

the deposit that I mentioned in the custom made order

is now only applied to orders that consist of 3 cards and above.

Less than that,

deposit is not required.

But as usual, only people who are serious about

making an order will be welcomed.

Okay, some little details for the card.
I actually painted the card with a purple colour that I mixed myself.
I could never find a nice shade of purple paper. =/
And then, stamped the snowflakes all around.

Hello everyone,

I have been MIA here for awhile.
And I am deeply sorry for this. =(
Am currently in an important semester for my studies and also, some small changes here and there.
Arranging how to fit in card making into my many other interests.

Due to my lack of experience,

I made the wedding gate.

It was stamp, cut, stamp, cut and more cutting, then stick.

The cutting was taking up time as the flowers are small.

But I have always wanted to make

a wedding gate with a pile flowers around the top.

Very spring feel eh? :D

I am very into those ruffles nowadays.

Adding pearls or rhinestones to it just made it more glam.

Another wedding card up!

Guess many ladies want to be a June bride? :)

This is a remake of the card

that I put in my link picture

but in lavender this time.

For this one, I added lace to match with the ribbon.

It feels more classic that way. :D

I couldn't find any lavender card stock

so I actually mixed some colours,

and then coloured the white card stock.

What I will do to achieve the best result. ;)

Mom's Day (MD601)

Mother's Day is just around the corner!

Everyone has begun to make cards and gifts
for this special day.
I can't help but join in too,
though I really have a tight schedule already.
So, I guess this will be the only
Mother's Day card that I will make this year. :)

I haven't made a ready made card for a long time.
:)
So here it goes!

Used a few ribbons and weaved them together.
Then, stick a love frame on it,
and you get a lovely colourful love! :)

Actually, the flowery part with a pink band
is slide-able.
Slide the band out to open the card. :)
It is a 3-folded card.
Something different from the usual two-folded ones. :D

Well, that was the theme of this birthday card.

So many colourful hibiscus~
I drew every one of them. :D
And coloured every single one of them.
Colourful, green-ish and brown-ish,
just like our multi-racial Malaysia
and our famous rain forest.

A customer of mine asked me to design

two birthday cards for her parents.
How sweet of her! ^^
So, here are the two cards.

First up is Dad's birthday card!

Noticed the colourful background behind the Love?
Got inspired by one of the card maker's idea which is weaving!
I cut out ten paper strips with different patterns
and weave them together!
Love the arty result~ :)

I like to use butterflies as decorations for cards.
They are pretty and can be done with many patterns or colours!

She gave a theme which is to show
that her parents are very special and important people.

Birthday Invitation Cards (CM511)

This is my first bulk order that I received!

I have always avoided them
but recently, I think I have the
confidence to do them now!
It was a rush though since the order came in a bit late.
Luckily I am having my one week break. ;)
20 cards in 3 days 3 nights!

I really love the Cinderella's pumpkin carriage. :)
I got the stamp from Crafty Heart
and am happy that I have the chance to use it. :)

20 cards packed nicely with their envelopes behind,
wrapped with plastic wrapper.
For your information,
I wrap every cards with plastic wrapper before
sending them out in order to keep them dry and unharmed.

As you can see,
I used a few different patterned papers.
It was due to limited sources of material.
But I guess it makes them more fun;
they are some variety. :)

I hope Renelle and her daughter, Isabelle will like them. :)

they exchanged their cards; both made by me! Hehe...

Valentine Card (CM507)

A valentine card requested by Ja Yin. :)

The card should be sweet and romantic~

Here are the pictures!!

I made the glitter love myself. :)
Cut a love shaped paper out
and played with the glue and glitter powder!
Luckily it wasn't a big mess. :P
I like this pink glitter very much~
Then frame it up and voila~ a lovely shiny love!

This is the first time I actually include butterflies in my cards!
I have always like butterflies.
And for this card, those butterflies are meant to be there.
They fit in just nicely.
I love Basic Grey paper pads. Awesome. :)

Added two puppy stickers in it.
Sweet and cute. :)

This is another custom ordered love card.

The customer requested for purple as the main colour.
Phew~ Purple is a challenge to me!
But I am glad I was able to make a nice one out of it; I hope! ;)

Mixed a few colours to get this purple.
I coloured the gold ones too~ ;)
And the love shaped frame, I coloured it too.
Mixing colours by myself really gives me the satisfaction. ;D

He gave me quite an interesting theme
which, I shall keep it personal for this one.

Have a look!

I coloured the pink flowers myself
since I wanted a different pink.
So, I mixed my water colours around and tadaa~~ a sweet pink
that cannot be found outside. Hehe~ ;)

The last picture is a bit bad.
It was quite hard for my humble 2MP camera to take
a good picture of the black paper. (>.<)
Hope they will like it!
